Mrs. Sushila Bohra is a renowned social worker giving her valuable services to several Social ,educational and religious Institutions. She is Founder President of Netraheen Vikas Sansthan ( A School for Blinds ) , Bal Shobha Sansthan (An Orphanage property) , Samgra Vikas Sansthan ( A khadhi Institute ) , President of Gandhi Peace foundation Center , Founder Honorary Secretary of “ SAMBAL “ (An institute for self employment of ladies) , Managing trustee of Parasmal Sushila Bohra Charitable Trust, Executive Member of Deaf & Dumb School, Navjeewan Sansthan ( A Destitute Property ) and Jodhpur Nagrik Society “ Jodhana” . She has remained Honorary member of Rotary Club of Jodhpur and Joint Secretary of Mahaveer International .

Netraheen Vikas Sansthan (Blind School Jodhpur-Rajasthan-India )is working for rehabilitation of blind students since last 31 years in Suncity Jodhpur by supplying free education with boarding and lodging facility separately for boys and Girls. The School was began on 15th August 1977 with only two blind students the number of which has gone to 247 at present out of which 90 are girls.This is the only institute for girls with hostel facility in Rajasthan. The school is up to senior secondary level for blind. All the teachers many of whom are even blind also are well trained and highly qualified. The result of 10th and 12th Board exams have constantly been maintained at 100% since beginning of school. The Students of the school have been awarded numerous times Medals and Prizes not only at National, State and District level but also at International level in the field of different Education, Sports and Music competitions.

ACTIVITIES

Library
There is 1 big library hall in the school containing more than 5000 Braille books of all sorts such as text books of course material , competitive exams books , fiction/novels , story books , holy books like Ramayana, Geeta , Mahabharata , Quran and Bible etc and other numerous reference books for classes 1st to 12th & higher education also. School subscribes different fortnightly / monthly / quarterly magazines and Journals useful for blind students and teachers for their updation of present affairs & general understanding.
National federation of Blind (NFB) & All India Confederation of the Blind (AICB) have also provided furniture and books for the benefit of blind students. 

Personal computer Education
School has recently established a fully air conditioned Pc Lab with the help of respected NRI donor Mr.Premchand Gadda & his friends from USA having 17 computers equipped with all latest hardware & software useful for blind . Personal computer fundamental course classes are taken by trained teachers & are compulsory for all the students from class 6th to 12th. Recently the School has started a three month Certificate course also in association with Polytechnic College, Jodhpur. 14 students have completed this course during 2007-08 sessions.

Braille Printing Machine
The school has imported unique Braille printing machine from Sweden in the year 2001 with the support of funds given by than British High Commissioner & Member of Parliament Late Dr.L.M.Singhvi . The machine is very helpful for converting books of regular text matter into Braille script which is used by all the students for their schooling.

DONATION REQUEST
As present we are having 247 children with us and several far more blind youngsters are in will need of appropriate care & education. But we are unable to admit them due to the fact of shortage of school & hostel accommodation, extra play ground, extra teachers & helpers, study material & furniture etc. Financial assist which we get from the state govt. is not sufficient to meet the expenditure of this institute. The respected donors are the only hope for us. So in this respect we request you to contribute generously with pleasant feeling & happy heart.
